I am a CIMA qualified chartered management accountant and a holder of a Bachelors of Accounting Science from University of South Africa with completed SAICA articles. I will be sitting for Board 1 Exam in June 2020 to convert my CIMA to CA(SA) as I am exempted from CTA and Board 2 Exam as per agreement between CIMA and SAICA. I have over 11 years’ experience in External Audit, Internal Audit, Tax Administration and Planning, Financial Management, and Financial Accounting. I am also knowledgeable in various accounting packages as my CV can attest, this helps me in being flexible to adapt to any accounting or financial tool that I come across. I have strongbusiness acumen skills that would influence decision making at your organisation in the economical, efficient and effective use of the organisations resources leading to achieving organisational goals. In addition to being technically gifted, I have a good understanding of; internal factors, micro-economic and macro-economic factors that can affect the organisation. I also have strong leadership, communication skillsand strong people skills which help me communicate effectively with those above or below me in the organisation structure. I have been working on consolidated financial statements and other accounting reports for over 6 years and I possess strong consolidation skills. I have also worked across different departments within the finance functions and I am able to communicate effectively with various departments. My current job entails understanding different systems and I have developed a skill of understanding various systems. Being a deadline driven individual I am well suited to this role. I like to work according to work plan but I am flexible to tackle additional work might come up in course of work.I am a hard worker, I work independently at the same time, I work well in a group set up as I believe team work is a key pillar to every successful organisation.
