Application for employment After many years working in banking in the corporate sector, I resigned in 2014 and entered the entrepreneur space. I took this opportunity follow my passions and exercise my creative brain by starting a fashion and lifestyle blog. I am currently a co-founder and director at a company, The Travel Connexion where I was instrumental in business concept, design, branding, systems, processes and refining the value proposition. As a business partner in the South African online beauty marketplace, GoBeauty, I managed the operational and marketing aspects and assisted with digital marketing, online presence and entrenching the brand in the market. The company is a few years old and despite being a first in South Africa, has in the past year grown from strength to strength. I also consult as a Business Strategist and consultant through OrganisedBusiness.Com to SME’s and entrepreneurs. I am passionate about people and empowering them, and enjoy engaging with individuals from all walks of life. My natural leadership ability and authentic way of engagement has enabled me to work with a diverse range of people over the past 5 years. I have demonstrated my ability to utilise my entrepreneurial spirit, business acumen and creativity to find innovative and new ways of business development. I enjoy trying new things and experiences, I face challenges head on and believe in being the best I can be. My current entrepreneurial ventures effectively combine my creative flair with my more traditional business mind. I currently engage in freelance digital marketing projects through my blog, which keeps my skillset evolving in the dynamic digital landscape. I am currently involved in many aspects of business, from being co-managing director of a company, marketing, developing and driving marketing strategy, to consulting and business coaching. However due to solid processes, good staff who have been employed, I will be comfortable to leave these in the hands of my very capable partners should I secure permanent employment.
